Generally, ties are cut by placing them on the bias at a 45-degree angle to the warp direction of the fabric. Therefore, if the fabric width is narrow, there will be many seams, making it inefficient, so making ties from kimono fabric is not common. However, MIZEN, after much deliberation on whether it could create kimono fabric ties that more people could use, decided to place a seam in the most visible spot as a diagonal cut (slash) as proof that it was tailored from a kimono, and thus presented MIZEN ties (trademark registered). This also expresses MIZEN's philosophy, which prioritizes craftsmanship, in its desire to bring kimonos, a result of artisanal work, to the world as ties.

This product is dyed using various natural dyes, and
color fading or transfer may occur due to moisture, sweat, or friction.

Avoid wearing with white or light-colored items, and
please be careful about color transfer to bags, accessories, chairs, sofas, furniture, etc.

Avoid direct sunlight, UV rays, and fluorescent lights, and store in a well-ventilated place.

Also, since it is a natural material (tsumugi), knots may be seen in places, but please enjoy it as the original texture of the fabric.
