This is a special garment where the rare traditional Japanese technique, rarely seen in fashion, is entrusted to the sewing thread, transforming the stitching itself into a design.
The base is 100% cotton, gentle on the skin. Precisely because it is the most universal material, the true value lies in what techniques are layered upon it.
MIZEN has entrusted this fabric with the rare dyeing technique of "Kasuri," elevating the sewing thread, which would normally be hidden inside, into a new beauty as a pattern that emerges on the surface.
Furthermore, it incorporates the advanced "linking" technique of Kesennuma-Motoyoshi suits. Inside the neckline, a knit-finished seam allowance cover is added, and by using Kasuri thread for its fastening, a circular stitch breathes life as a subtle decoration.
Since Kasuri thread runs through all the inside seams, you can enjoy a bolder expression by turning the garment inside out.

The MIZEN Kasuri T-shirt is crafted using traditional techniques and delicate materials. To ensure its longevity, please pay attention to the following points:
Color fading and transfer
・Color fading or transfer may occur due to moisture, perspiration, or friction.
・Avoid wearing with white or light-colored clothing, and be careful of color transfer to bags, accessories, furniture, etc.
Dealing with dirt and stains
・Wipe off any water droplets, dirt, or sweat immediately.
・If it cannot be removed, we recommend consulting a specialist as it may cause stains or discoloration.
Storage method
・Store in a well-ventilated place to prevent discoloration, fading, or yellowing caused by direct sunlight, UV rays, or fluorescent lights.
・A low-humidity environment is ideal to prevent mold and insect damage.
・There is a risk of losing shape if hung on a hanger, so please fold it lightly and store it on a flat surface.
Sewing
・Due to the special sewing, if pulled with strong force, the seams may slip out. Please handle with care.
Washing and cleaning
