Generally, ties are cut by placing them at a 45-degree bias to the warp direction of the fabric. Therefore, if the fabric width is narrow, there will be more seams and it is not efficient, so ties are not typically made from kimono bolts. However, MIZEN pondered whether it could create kimono fabric ties that more people could use. As a testament to being tailored from a kimono, MIZEN decided to incorporate a diagonal cut (slash) as a seam in the most visible area, and thus unveiled the MIZEN tie (trademark registered). This also expresses MIZEN's philosophy, which prioritizes craftsmanship and aims to bring the handmade beauty of kimonos to the world as ties.

When tied, the unique slubs on the fabric surface of Ushikubi Tsumugi and the silk's luster elegantly appear, making it a sophisticated piece that enhances coordination for both everyday wear and special occasions. It is also perfect as a gift for a loved one.

This product has been dyed using various natural dyes,
and color fading or transfer may occur due to moisture, sweat, friction, etc.

Please avoid wearing it with white or light-colored items,
and be careful of color transfer to bags, accessories, chairs, sofas, furniture, etc.

Please avoid direct sunlight, UV rays, and fluorescent lights, and store in a well-ventilated area.

Also, as it is a natural material (Tsumugi), slubs may be seen in places, but please enjoy it as part of the fabric's original texture.
